Headboard Bench

Sooo… I’ve been obsessed with this project since I saw one done.  Converting a headboard into a bench.  Originally, this piece was a twin size bed.  Good construction, simply finished, nice detail…  But it was covered in scratches, marker, and loads of history!  This antique bed has a story!  Some sweet kiddo got PLENTY of use out of it.

But it needed new life…      So, we converted it into a bench!

The picture gives the bench a sort of “Miniature” look (not sure why!), but it is about the size of a chair-and-a-half!  Perfect for an entry way, or bedroom accent.

It has a deep seat, with heavy upholstery foam in the cushion. Cushion has been professionally finished with a gorgeous yellow tweed type fabric.  The construction itself has been thoroughly reinforced, and is stable enough for daily use!  Finish is majorly cream.  It has some of the original stain peeking through, as well as black.

This piece has sold, but if you are interested in something similar, please contact us!  We have more inventory, and we’d be happy to work with you to create a bench that’s perfect for your space.
